Employment Support
Finding a job can be challenging, particularly for people who are new to the UK, have limited work experience, or face language or digital barriers. We support individuals who are seeking employment by helping them develop the skills, confidence, and practical support needed to move closer to employment.
We can support service users with:
- CV preparation, updating, and guidance on presenting your skills and experience
- Searching for jobs and completing online job applications
- Access to IT support and free internet for job searching and applications
- Understanding job adverts and employment requirements
- Information about workplace rights and responsibilities
- Finding volunteering opportunities and work placements to gain work experience
- Support to build confidence when entering employment for the first time or returning to work
Our approach is practical and supportive. We work with individuals to identify realistic employment options based on their skills, experience, and circumstances, and help them take positive steps towards employment, training, or volunteering.
