Humber Community Advice Services (H-CAS) provides essential, free support to people from the global majority communities in Hull and the neighbouring areas. Registered as a Charity in 2018, H-CAS offers independent advice and advocacy to help individuals overcome significant barriers such as language and cultural differences, discrimination, poverty, and housing insecurity.

H-CAS’s work extends beyond traditional advice-giving to encompass a holistic, client-centered approach that views human connection and mutual support as indispensable elements of community integration.  Therefore, understanding and connecting to the client is key to providing an environment where a client can freely express themselves in a manner that they will be understood and supported.
